Expert Witness

Sometimes building work does not go according to plan and disputes may arise between client and contractor regarding payment, quality of workmanship, building defects or breach of contract.

If possible, it is best to try to resolve a dispute before it reaches court by appointing an agreed, independent surveyor to review all pertinent matters and report his findings, so long as both parties agree in advance that those findings will be accepted.

If the matter has already gone to arbitration or adjudication, an expert witness may be appointed by the court.

In all circumstances, our surveyors will act impartially to review the information submitted, making all necessary inspections and enquiries in order to submit a factual and considered professional report.
